Amagi Media Labs reported consolidated net profit of Rs 33.9 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, an 8.6-fold increase from Rs 3.9 crore in the corresponding period a year earlier. The Bengaluru-based media-software company also recorded continued double-digit revenue growth as broadcasters and streaming companies expanded their use of cloud-based content distribution and monetisation infrastructure.
Operating revenue increased 32.4% year on year to Rs 436.9 crore from Rs 330.1 crore. Sequentially, revenue rose 10.1% from Rs 397 crore in the March quarter. Other income of Rs 17.6 crore took total quarterly income to Rs 454.5 crore.
Profit was broadly stable compared with the preceding quarter, declining marginally from Rs 34.3 crore. Total expenses rose 22.6% year on year to Rs 414.1 crore, a slower rate than operating-revenue growth during the period. The difference between revenue and expense growth supported the sharp year-on-year expansion in reported profit.
Amagi provides cloud-native software for live production, content preparation, channel creation, distribution and advertising monetisation. Its systems are used by broadcasters, content owners and streaming platforms to operate linear and free ad-supported streaming television channels without relying exclusively on conventional broadcast infrastructure.
The company describes its platform as an AI-enabled industry cloud for the media and entertainment sector. Its operating data includes more than 9,000 channel deliveries, over 500,000 hours of content, relationships with more than 300 distributors and more than 26 billion advertising impressions. Amagi also says its technology is used by 45% of the world’s 50 largest listed media and entertainment companies.
The Q1 result follows a significant profitability improvement in FY26. For the full year ended March 2026, Amagi’s revenue grew 29.5% to Rs 1,506 crore. Adjusted EBITDA increased more than sixfold to Rs 156 crore, while profit after tax turned positive at Rs 72 crore. Net revenue retention stood at 125.9%, and the number of customers generating more than $1 million in annual revenue increased to 35 from 28.
Amagi listed on the BSE and NSE in January 2026, becoming the first listed Indian cloud-native SaaS company offering an end-to-end software stack for broadcasting and streaming. The latest quarterly numbers therefore represent one of its earliest earnings disclosures as a publicly traded company.
The company’s Q1 performance maintains the revenue trajectory reported during FY26 while showing that the transition to profitability continued through the opening quarter of the new financial year.
