Jubilant Ingrevia to Acquire 40% Stake in Zettaone Technologies for ₹189.2 Crore

Jubilant Ingrevia Limited is set to acquire a 40% stake in Zettaone Technologies for ₹189.2 crore, marking the company’s entry into the Electronics Development and Manufacturing Services (EDMS) segment.

The proposed investment represents a strategic move by Jubilant Ingrevia to diversify beyond its existing business areas and gain exposure to the growing electronics manufacturing industry. Through the transaction, the company will partner with Zettaone Technologies, which operates in electronics design and manufacturing.

The investment comes at a time when India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem is expanding, supported by increasing demand for locally developed and manufactured electronic products. The country is also working to strengthen domestic capabilities across electronics and semiconductor-related industries.

By acquiring a 40% stake in Zettaone Technologies, Jubilant Ingrevia will gain exposure to the EDMS segment, allowing it to participate in an industry that is increasingly important to India’s technology and manufacturing landscape.

Zettaone Technologies’ capabilities in electronics design and manufacturing will form an important part of the partnership. The investment provides Jubilant Ingrevia with an opportunity to participate in a technology-focused business while building a presence in an emerging segment outside its traditional areas of operation.

The transaction also reflects Jubilant Ingrevia’s broader focus on identifying new areas of growth. The company is seeking to expand its business portfolio by entering sectors with long-term potential, while the electronics industry continues to see increased attention around domestic manufacturing and supply-chain development.

The ₹189.2-crore investment for a 40% stake gives Jubilant Ingrevia a significant interest in Zettaone Technologies while establishing its presence in the EDMS market. The move could provide the company with exposure to future opportunities arising from India’s expanding electronics ecosystem.

The investment is therefore positioned as a diversification initiative for Jubilant Ingrevia, combining its financial participation with Zettaone Technologies’ capabilities in electronics design and manufacturing. It also aligns with the broader development of India’s domestic electronics manufacturing base and the growing demand for technology-driven manufacturing capabilities.
