QuID has appointed Arumugam P. as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing extensive experience in technology strategy, cloud security, data platforms, artificial intelligence, engineering and digital transformation to the company.
In his new role, Arumugam will focus on building technology solutions aimed at empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to operate at their full potential. His mandate brings together his experience in technology leadership, scalable engineering and the development of digital and data-driven platforms.
Before joining QuID, Arumugam spent time at Salesforce, where he held technology leadership responsibilities across large-scale cloud security and data initiatives. During his tenure, he worked on platforms supporting millions of cloud assets and contributed to the development of AI-powered capabilities for sensitive data detection.
His experience at Salesforce also included engineering leadership and organisational initiatives, giving him exposure to technology operations at scale and the implementation of security and data solutions across complex cloud environments.
Earlier in his career, Arumugam held senior technology and consulting roles at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Visa and Exotel. Across these organisations, he worked across areas including digital transformation, data engineering, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning, enterprise architecture and technology strategy.
At BCG, Arumugam also served as an interim technology leader for a major insurance organisation, where he worked on technology and business transformation initiatives. His work contributed to improvements across revenue growth, technology efficiency, product launches and operational capacity.
His professional journey spans multiple industries and combines technology strategy with hands-on engineering and transformation experience. This includes building data platforms, developing cloud capabilities, implementing AI and machine-learning solutions, and supporting enterprise technology programmes.
At QuID, Arumugam will bring this combination of technology and business transformation experience to the company’s technology function. His focus on scalable technology solutions aligns with the company’s objective of helping MSMEs access capabilities that can support their business operations and growth.
His appointment marks another step in Arumugam’s career across technology-driven organisations, adding leadership experience in cloud, AI, data, cybersecurity, engineering and digital transformation to QuID’s technology leadership.
