Shobana Kailash Appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at RateGain

Shobana Kailash has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at RateGain, bringing more than two decades of experience in building high-performing teams, developing workplace cultures and leading people initiatives across global markets.

In her new role, Kailash will support RateGain’s continued growth and technology-led transformation. Her responsibilities will come at a time when the company is advancing its AI-led strategy, expanding its presence across North America and Europe, and integrating Sojern.

Kailash brings a broad international perspective to the role, having built her career working with organisations and teams across more than 30 countries. Her professional experience spans people leadership, organisational development and workplace culture, with a focus on building teams that can support businesses through periods of growth and transformation.

Before joining RateGain, Kailash held leadership roles at several prominent organisations, including Amazon, Freshworks, IQVIA and Hubilo, which was acquired by Brandlive. Her experience across these organisations has provided exposure to different business models, work environments and international markets.

Her career has particularly focused on building and supporting high-performing teams and workplace cultures. This experience will be relevant to RateGain as the company continues to expand its operations while adopting technology and AI more deeply across its business.

At RateGain, one of Kailash’s key areas of focus will be developing a workforce that embraces AI as an integral part of the way it works. Rather than treating AI only as a technology initiative, her mandate will involve supporting the evolution of employees and teams alongside the company’s broader technology-driven growth.

The appointment also comes as RateGain strengthens its international footprint. The company is expanding across North America and Europe, while the integration of Sojern represents another important organisational development. These initiatives require businesses to align people, culture and organisational capabilities with changing strategic priorities.

Kailash’s experience across global organisations gives her exposure to managing people and workplace initiatives in diverse markets. Her background across more than 30 countries adds an international dimension to her new leadership role at RateGain.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Kailash will therefore play a role in shaping the people and culture agenda as the company moves through its next phase of growth. Her focus on high-performing teams and workplace culture will support RateGain’s efforts to build an organisation that can adapt to evolving technology and business requirements.

With more than two decades of experience across leading global organisations, Kailash joins RateGain with expertise spanning people leadership, workplace culture, organisational development and global workforce management. Her appointment adds senior HR leadership as RateGain continues its AI-led expansion and works to align its workforce with its technology-driven growth strategy.
