Jatinder Singh Malhotra Appointed Chief Information Officer at IMGC

IMGC has appointed Jatinder Singh Malhotra as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), strengthening its technology leadership as the company advances its digital transformation and technology strategy.

Malhotra brings more than 17 years of experience in enterprise architecture, digital modernisation and business transformation across the banking, insurance and consulting sectors. An alumnus of IIT Roorkee, he has held leadership positions at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Accenture Strategy and Ernst & Young (EY) during his career.

In his new role at IMGC, Malhotra will lead the company’s next-generation technology and information security roadmap, with a focus on building a robust and stable technology platform to support its future growth.

His responsibilities will also include bringing together enterprise technology, analytics solutions and AI/ML innovations to strengthen IMGC’s mortgage guarantee platform. The focus will be on developing smarter and more scalable technology solutions for the company’s lending partners.

Malhotra’s appointment comes as IMGC continues to place technology, analytics and artificial intelligence at the centre of its efforts to enhance its platform and support the evolving requirements of the lending ecosystem. His experience across technology transformation and enterprise strategy is expected to support the organisation as it works toward building a more scalable and technology-driven operating environment.

With his background spanning consulting and financial-services-related transformation, Malhotra brings experience in working at the intersection of technology, business strategy and digital transformation. At IMGC, this expertise will be directed toward strengthening the organisation’s technology infrastructure while advancing its information security and innovation agenda.

The CIO role will therefore cover both the organisation’s core technology requirements and emerging capabilities, including analytics and AI/ML, as IMGC looks to enhance its mortgage guarantee platform and deliver solutions that can scale with its lending partners.
