
Rahul Dev has joined KIMS Group of Hospitals as Regional Head – CIS & SAARC (Bangalore Units), taking on a leadership role focused on strengthening the hospital group’s international business operations across key overseas markets.
Dev announced his new position on LinkedIn, expressing his excitement about joining KIMS Group of Hospitals and beginning a new chapter in his career. In his announcement, he highlighted the importance of supporting KIMS Hospitals’ growth journey while working with its teams and leadership.
In his new role, Dev will oversee international business sales and operations for KIMS Hospitals’ Bangalore units, with a particular focus on the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) markets. His responsibilities are expected to include international market development, customer engagement, business growth and operational efficiency across these regions.
Dev brings more than 14 years of experience across healthcare, medical value travel, international business development, sales and operations. His professional experience has been focused substantially on international healthcare business, including patient acquisition, market development, partnerships and cross-border healthcare operations.
Before joining KIMS Hospitals, Dev was associated with Paras Health, where he served as DGM & Head – International Business. At Paras Health, he led international business sales and operations after previously serving as AGM – International Business. His work involved developing international markets and managing business activities connected with patients and partners across different geographies.
Earlier in his career, Dev held roles across several healthcare and insurance organisations, including Sarvodaya Healthcare, Aster DM Healthcare, BLK – Max Super Speciality Hospital, Max Healthcare and Religare Health Insurance. He has also worked in international patient services with organisations including Asian Heart Institute and Research Center, Meera Rescue Services and AXA.
His career has given him experience in areas such as international patient services, global healthcare marketing, business development, international partnerships, medical camps, embassy collaborations, and B2B alliances involving insurers, corporates and foreign organisations. His exposure to markets including the UAE, Africa and South Asia has also contributed to his expertise in medical value travel and international healthcare business.
At KIMS Hospitals, Dev’s focus on the CIS and SAARC regions places him in a position to contribute to the group’s international patient business and market expansion initiatives. His experience across international healthcare operations and business development is expected to support KIMS Hospitals as it strengthens engagement with patients, partners and stakeholders across these important markets.
