Fireside Ventures Leads Rs 110 Crore Series B Round in Beyond Appliances

Bengaluru-based smart kitchen technology company Beyond Appliances has raised Rs 110 crore ($11.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital and other investors.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen research and development, establish a new manufacturing plant and expand its portfolio into additional kitchen appliance categories. Beyond Appliances plans to use the investment to increase its manufacturing capacity and support the development of its next generation of products.

Founded in 2024 by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, Beyond Appliances develops technology-led kitchen appliances for Indian households. Its current product portfolio includes Android chimneys, Plug-N-Play chimneys, smart hobs and cooktops.

The company said it decided to raise the latest round after seeing strong consumer acceptance for its existing products. Eshwar K. Vikas, co-founder and CEO of Beyond Appliances, said, “The acceptance of these products has given us confidence that there is a larger opportunity to build technology-led kitchen appliances specifically for Indian consumers.”

The company has also doubled its marketplace share over the past year as consumer adoption and traction across digital channels increased. Around 15% of its revenue comes through customer referrals, while its flagship kitchen appliance range continues to be its primary revenue driver.

“We therefore felt this was the right stage to invest more aggressively in R&D and manufacturing capabilities,” Vikas said.

Over the next 18-24 months, Beyond Appliances plans to focus on strengthening its R&D and product engineering capabilities while expanding manufacturing capacity. The company also plans to introduce new kitchen categories, with a new category in the oven space expected to be launched within the next nine to 12 months.

“We are working towards becoming a broader smart kitchen appliances company,” Vikas said.

The company aims to expand its offline presence from its current operations in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad to 10 additional cities over the next three years. It is also targeting Rs 500 crore in annual recurring revenue over the same period.

The company follows an omnichannel model, selling through its direct-to-consumer platform, online marketplaces, offline retail and experience centres. Its offline expansion is expected to support wider access to its kitchen appliance portfolio as it enters more markets.

Beyond Appliances had previously raised $4 million in a Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital, in August last year. Before that, the company raised $2 million in a seed round led by Fireside Ventures in November 2024.

The latest funding round gives Beyond Appliances additional capital to expand its manufacturing capabilities, invest in product development and enter new kitchen appliance categories. The company plans to use the next 18-24 months to strengthen its technology and manufacturing base while expanding its presence across Indian markets.
