
Tanuj Garg has taken up the responsibility of Interim Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Yotta Data Services Private Limited, marking a new chapter in his cybersecurity leadership journey.
Garg announced the development on October 8, 2026, through a LinkedIn post, stating that he had taken up the Interim CISO responsibility at Yotta. In the role, he will focus on strengthening the company’s cybersecurity, cloud security and AI security capabilities.
Garg has been associated with Yotta’s cybersecurity initiatives and has been involved in the company’s efforts around security infrastructure and services. Public professional references also show his involvement with Yotta’s cybersecurity teams and initiatives, including work supporting cybersecurity professionals within the organisation.
Yotta Data Services operates data centre, cloud and digital infrastructure services, with cybersecurity forming part of its technology and infrastructure offerings. The company has also highlighted its managed cybersecurity capabilities, including its Smart CSOC offering, which provides security monitoring, threat detection and related services.
In his announcement, Garg said he was looking forward to taking the responsibility forward with the Yotta team and continuing to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity, cloud security and AI security journey. He also expressed his gratitude to Yotta’s leadership team, including Rajesh Garg, Nitin M. Jadhav and Sunil Gupta, along with others who have supported him.
Garg’s new interim mandate comes as Yotta continues to expand its cloud and AI infrastructure capabilities. The company has been building its presence in sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure while also developing cybersecurity capabilities to support organisations operating on its platforms.
As Interim CISO, Garg will be responsible for supporting Yotta’s information security leadership, with his focus spanning cybersecurity, cloud security and AI security.
