Anaplan has opened its largest global office in Gurugram, India, as part of a multi-million-dollar investment to expand its presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The new 42,000-square-foot facility includes the company’s first Customer Experience Center in APAC and can accommodate up to 500 employees.
Announced on September 2, 2026, the expansion positions India as a strategic hub for Anaplan’s global product development, engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. Developed in partnership with DLF India, the facility brings together engineering, product development, go-to-market, customer support, marketing and human resources teams under one roof.
The Customer Experience Center will allow enterprise customers to explore Anaplan’s scenario-planning capabilities and test role-based AI agents. These demonstrations are designed to show how AI can support business decisions, resource allocation and routine operations across functions such as finance, supply chain, human resources and sales.
The Gurugram teams will also contribute to Anaplan’s global product roadmap and the development of its Agentic Enterprise framework. The framework uses role-based AI agents to perform routine tasks and support business processes, helping organisations manage complex planning requirements and make decisions more efficiently.
“APAC is critical to Anaplan’s growth, ongoing innovation and AI leadership,” said Charles Gottdiener, Chief Executive Officer of Anaplan. He said the investment in Gurugram would accelerate the company’s regional growth while bringing talent and AI-focused innovation closer to its customers.
Sanket Deodhar, India Head at Anaplan, said India’s engineering and AI talent would help the company build and deliver its agentic AI capabilities. He also highlighted the company’s customers across industries, including Deepak Fertilizers, Alkem, Daimler Commercial Vehicles and Hero FinCorp.
The office expansion comes as APAC has emerged as Anaplan’s fastest-growing region for net new bookings in the last fiscal year. The company has more than 500 employees across nine APAC offices and serves over 500 customers in the region. Its regional customers include Bridgestone, Cebu Pacific, Canva, Mitsui Chemicals, Mizuho Bank and Omron Healthcare, which use its platform for planning across finance, supply chain, sales and workforce management.
Anaplan has also established data centres in India, Indonesia and Singapore to support local data residency requirements.
The Gurugram facility strengthens India’s role in Anaplan’s regional operations, bringing product development, customer engagement and AI innovation closer together as the company expands its enterprise planning capabilities across APAC.
