ElevenLabs, an artificial intelligence voice technology company, announced the opening of its Singapore office on October 8, 2026, establishing the city-state as its Southeast Asia hub. The move is intended to strengthen the company’s presence across the wider Asia-Pacific region and bring its teams closer to customers developing and deploying AI-powered communication solutions.
The company said the new office will support its expansion in a region characterised by linguistic diversity, widespread mobile usage and growing adoption of AI across businesses. The local team will work directly with customers to develop voice AI solutions tailored to regional languages, markets and communication needs.
Mati Staniszewski, co-founder and CEO of ElevenLabs, said the company aims to build AI that reflects the languages and contexts of the markets it serves. He added that expanding the local team would enable closer collaboration with customers across the region.
The Singapore office builds on the company’s existing infrastructure investments in the market. In July 2026, ElevenLabs introduced Singapore data residency, allowing enterprises to host data locally. The offering includes zero-retention options, lower latency across Singapore and East Asia, and SOC 2 compliance.
Regional Customers Adopt ElevenLabs’ Voice AI
ElevenLabs said businesses across Southeast Asia are already using its technology in sectors including banking, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare and customer service.
Funding Societies, a digital financing platform serving small and medium-sized enterprises across Southeast Asia, uses ElevenLabs’ conversational AI to qualify sales leads across five markets. Human agents become involved after the AI system has filtered and qualified the conversations.
Singapore-based buy-now-pay-later company Atome uses the technology for agent and customer engagement workflows. Boost Bank in Malaysia and Salmon Group in the Philippines also use ElevenLabs’ solutions to support customer service, alongside Indonesia’s media conglomerate MNC Group.
AI Rudder, a WhatsApp business solutions provider, uses ElevenLabs’ text-to-speech technology and custom voices for customer service applications across finance, logistics and retail.
In healthcare, Rezonate is building conversational experiences using ElevenLabs’ technology. The company said Rezonate’s healthcare AI platform is used by 60% of Singapore’s public hospitals.
Singapore-based Level3AI, which develops customer experience solutions, uses ElevenAgents to automate lengthy and complex customer calls, including appointment booking.
Eugene Liang, General Manager for Asia at ElevenLabs, said multilingual and multicultural communication is fundamental to Southeast Asia. He said the company’s technology is designed to address the region’s linguistic diversity by enabling AI systems to communicate in local languages.
Hiring Across Multiple Functions
As part of its Singapore expansion, ElevenLabs is recruiting for positions across research, engineering, sales, solutions and other teams. The company said the expansion will bring together employees working across different functions to develop voice AI products for customers in Southeast Asia.
The Singapore launch represents another step in ElevenLabs’ broader Asia-Pacific expansion, with the company focusing on local infrastructure, customer partnerships and AI systems adapted to regional requirements.
