CapitalOS Raises $21.9M Series A for Money Orchestration Layer for B2B Platforms

CapitalOS is trusted by dozens of B2B platforms to offer world-class spend products to their customers, and has over 25,000 cardholders across dozens of platforms with billions in volume

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – CapitalOS, a money orchestration layer for B2B platforms, today announced $21.9M in Series A funding led by LGVP, along with WEX Venture Capital, Group11, Great North Ventures, Night Capital, and existing investors. CapitalOS allows any platform to quickly offer its users and agents world-class financial products including credit cards, wallets, bill pay, and more.

The Platform Payment Problem: Expensive and Complicated Payment Buildouts

For software platforms, launching a business credit card or bill-pay feature typically requires building an entire financial operation behind it. Teams must integrate banking partners and payment systems, manage underwriting and fraud, run compliance and transaction monitoring, and reconcile money as it moves. Each capability requires specialized expertise, dedicated engineering resources, and ongoing maintenance as the business scales. What begins as a product opportunity becomes a permanent operational commitment that distracts from their unique added value to build the undifferentiated but crucial financial infrastructure.

“CapitalOS gave us the robust, yet flexible infrastructure we needed to launch a card product that is 10x better than any traditional banking platform, embedding it directly into our users’ daily operations,” said Jonathan Ferber, Head of Business Programs Operations at Guesty, a CapitalOS customer.

CapitalOS’s Solution: Launch Spend Management & Bill Pay in Days

CapitalOS solves this with an embedded spend management platform that takes days to go live. By automating the heavy lifting of money orchestration, the architecture allows platforms to deploy sophisticated financial tools without the burden of ongoing engineering maintenance. The infrastructure is built to provide best-in-class financial products from day one, enabling platforms to continuously ship new capabilities that end users love while maintaining complete confidence in the underlying system.

Key features include:

  • Underwriting Agent: Approves eligible businesses and automatically adjusts credit limits as user activity grows.
  • Capital Agent: Funds transactions directly and dynamically manages capital availability, eliminating the need for your team to raise, warehouse, or manually allocate funds.
  • Compliance Agent: Runs onboarding, verification, licensing, and monitoring workflows, keeping legitimate customers moving swiftly while enforcing strict program requirements.
  • Risk & Fraud Agent: Monitors user behavior in real time, identifying suspicious activity and proactively blocking fraud before any losses reach the platform.
  • Support Agent: Handles embedded, user-facing payments support across phone, text, and email.

“We’ve followed Nir and the team for a while, and their deep domain expertise has always stood out,” stated Itai Tsiddon, General Partner at LGVP. “The best B2B platforms act on their customers’ behalf, and few actions matter more than financial ones. CapitalOS lets them launch financial products in days, and with more than 10x growth as AI accelerates demand, we’re excited to lead this round and partner with CapitalOS.”

“As AI enables B2B platforms to do more for their customers, it’s also creating opportunities to use operational data in more meaningful ways, including anticipating financial needs and improving how money moves through a business,” said Jay Dearborn, chief operating officer, international, and chief strategy officer at WEX. “What makes CapitalOS compelling is its approach to connecting that intelligence with the financial infrastructure businesses need, without requiring platforms to build and manage that complexity themselves. That’s the kind of opportunity WEX Venture Capital looks for: technology that solves a real business problem and makes sophisticated financial capabilities more accessible to the companies that need them.”

“Vertical SaaS & AI platforms are experts in their domains, not building payments infrastructure,” explained Nir Dremer, Co-Founder and CEO of CapitalOS. “Our goal is to build the best financial infrastructure so any platform company can offer their end customers world class financial products.”

CapitalOS was founded by Nir Dremer and Matan Goldschmidt, who both bring deep expertise across fintech and consumer platforms. Dremer previously worked as a GM at Stripe and Tipalti where he discovered the massive opportunity to help businesses with financial products through the platforms they already use. Goldschmidt previously helped build products at Lyft which he joined through the acquisition of a company he founded. The company is currently orchestrating billions in transaction volume which has grown 1,000% over the last 18 months.
