Chapter Home Raises ₹63 Crore for Tech-Led Home and Kitchen Brand Platform

Chapter Home, an omnichannel home and kitchen company founded by former PharmEasy executives, has raised ₹63 crore through a combination of equity and debt. The transaction values the young company at close to ₹1,000 crore.

The round included Bessemer Venture Partners, Stride Ventures, investor and content creator Tanmay Bhat, and several family offices. Chapter Home said it has also received commitments for further capital to support subsequent growth.

Founded in 2025 by Nitin Chugh, Akarsh Bharadwaj, Shrey Mittal, Dhiraj Jain and Dheeraj Goyal, the company is developing individual consumer brands across home-related categories while operating them on shared technology, sourcing, content and distribution infrastructure. The founders previously worked in founding or leadership roles at PharmEasy parent API Holdings.

Chapter Home entered the market through HOKIPO, an online home-furnishings brand. It intends to expand into cookware, home décor, table and bed linen, small appliances and adjacent kitchen categories. The funding will support product development, brand building and the creation of its first physical consumer touchpoints.

Technology is being applied across cataloguing, content production, demand forecasting, assortment planning, customer targeting and retention. The company plans to use artificial intelligence to shorten the time required to introduce new products and brands, while its common supply-chain backbone is intended to reduce duplication across categories.

Distribution will span marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms, Chapter Home’s direct-to-consumer channels and offline retail. Co-founder Nitin Chugh said the company sees an opportunity in the fragmented Indian home and kitchen market as consumers place greater emphasis on design, functionality, quality and consistency across online and physical shopping.

Bessemer partner Anant Vidur Puri said the founders’ experience operating a complex consumer business and the presence of a profitable initial brand were factors in the investment. The model separates consumer-facing brands by category but consolidates core technology, sourcing and fulfilment functions.

The capital raise positions Chapter Home to test whether a shared data and operating platform can create a scalable portfolio of specialised consumer brands in a market traditionally divided among local sellers, marketplaces and standalone labels.
