SentinelOne Launches Agentic Detection and Response Offering for Enterprise AI Security

Cybersecurity company SentinelOne has launched Singularity Agentic Detection and Response (ADR), a security offering designed to help enterprises discover AI agents, manage their access and identify or stop malicious and unintended activity while the agents are operating.

The product was announced on October 29, 2026, at the company’s OneCon 2026 customer conference and is currently available in early access.

Built on the Singularity Platform, ADR extends SentinelOne’s existing endpoint, cloud workload and identity security capabilities to AI agents operating across enterprise environments. It combines agent discovery and policy enforcement with behavioural detection and response to address risks involving both malicious activity and authorised agents acting beyond their intended tasks.

The offering provides organisations with an inventory of AI agents, tools, connectors and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, along with information about their permissions and associated users. It also supports agents developed on platforms including Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI ChatGPT workspace agents and Anthropic Claude managed agents.

ADR can monitor agent activity through event traces and connect AI-driven actions with subsequent system processes. It is designed to identify when an agent’s behaviour moves away from its assigned task. Security teams can also set controls governing which agents are allowed to operate and which resources they can access.

The system is designed to block threats such as prompt injection and credential exfiltration before actions are executed. It also allows security teams to contain an individual AI agent without stopping the wider workflow.

SentinelOne said ADR builds on its Prompt AI Agent Security capabilities, which were introduced in March. The new offering integrates agent activity into the Singularity Platform’s existing investigation and response workflows, allowing security teams to examine agent actions and automate responses within customer-defined boundaries.

“Securing AI agents goes beyond just stopping threat actors with malicious intent. As we’ve seen all too frequently, an equal if not more prominent risk comes from unintended behavior of sanctioned agents,” said Chris Corde, Chief Product Officer at SentinelOne.

The launch comes as enterprises increasingly deploy AI agents that can access credentials, use connected tools and carry out multi-step tasks with limited human intervention. SentinelOne is positioning ADR as a way to extend runtime security controls to these systems as organisations expand their use of AI across business operations.
