Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has begun reopening withdrawals for additional digital assets across several blockchain networks as it continues restoring services following a major security incident.
In an update published on November 3, 2026, Binance said withdrawals for the additional assets would begin reopening from 04:00 UTC. The process is being carried out progressively, with individual assets and networks becoming available after security and operational readiness checks are completed.
The latest reopening follows an initial phase that began on November 1. Binance said the second phase covers assets across networks including BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Sui, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron and Base.
The exchange cautioned that the listed assets would not all become available simultaneously. Users were advised to check the withdrawal page for the relevant asset and network to confirm availability. Binance also warned that temporary delays or longer processing times could occur during the rollout because of increased traffic.
Deposit services remain open and are not affected by the withdrawal restoration process.
The reopening follows a security incident that resulted in the theft of approximately $6.3 billion in digital assets from Binance, according to earlier reports. Blockchain analysis firm TRM Labs attributed the attack to TraderTraitor, a North Korean hacking unit, based on its analysis of on-chain and off-chain intelligence. North Korea has denied allegations linking it to the theft.
Binance has said it will bear the financial impact of the stolen funds and that the losses will not be passed on to users. The company has also been working with industry partners and law enforcement to trace and recover assets while strengthening security measures.
The exchange said it would continue reopening withdrawals as additional assets and networks complete the required checks. The phased approach is intended to restore access while ensuring that affected services are ready to operate securely.
