Apollo Tyres Ltd has promoted Abhineet Kothari to the position of Marketing Head – India & Southeast Asia, a notable advancement reflecting his swift and impactful contributions since joining the company just over a year ago. In this expanded role, Abhineet will oversee marketing strategies across these critical regions, aiming to drive accelerated brand growth and innovation.
With over 15 years of diverse experience spanning marketing, category management, and sales, Abhineet has built a strong reputation in leading brand and growth initiatives for prominent companies. Prior to Apollo Tyres, he held senior leadership positions at Paytm and Castrol, where he was responsible for shaping brand strategy, managing P&L, and delivering business expansion. Earlier in his career, he worked globally as a marine engineer with Shell before transitioning into marketing roles, including a significant stint at Kellogg Company.
Abhineet holds an MBA from the Management Development Institute in Gurgaon and a degree in marine engineering from Jadavpur University. His multidisciplinary background, combined with a dynamic and innovative leadership approach, has enabled him to make meaningful strides in brand development and marketing effectiveness at Apollo.
