Eternal has announced the appointment of Aditya Mangla as the Chief Executive Officer of its food ordering and delivery division. This leadership change comes as Rakesh Ranjan steps down from the role after completing a two-year tenure.
In an exchange filing, the company confirmed that Ranjan ceased to be a senior management personnel (SMP) effective July 6. Mangla, who has now been designated as an SMP, previously led product development for Eternal’s food delivery segment.
Since joining Eternal in 2021, Mangla has held key positions including head of supply and head of customer experience, contributing significantly to the company’s food delivery operations. With over two decades of experience, his professional background includes stints at companies such as Bloomberg and HCL Technologies before joining the Deepinder Goyal-led firm.
Ranjan’s resignation was first reported in April. Although he has relinquished his CEO duties, he remains associated with the company.
In a letter to shareholders released in May, Eternal’s Founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal had stated, “Getting new people to look at the business has always helped, and we are doing an internal leadership re-shuffle to get fresh perspectives into the business.”
