Enterprise AI startup Aerchain has raised $13 million (approximately ₹118 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Pavestone, with participation from IndiaMART and other investors. The funding marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to scale its AI-native procurement platform globally.
The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to enhance its AI capabilities and expand into international markets. Its platform, described as a “Spend Operating System,” is designed to transform enterprise procurement from a reactive cost centre into a proactive, value-driven function.
Founded by Harsha Kadimisetty and Himavanth Jasti, Aerchain focuses on automating the entire procurement lifecycle—from vendor discovery and request-for-quotation processes to negotiation, contract management, invoicing, and payment tracking. The system is powered by a multi-agent AI architecture that can execute tasks autonomously while surfacing only critical decisions for human input.
The platform aims to eliminate inefficiencies in traditional procurement systems, where teams often rely on manual processes such as emails and spreadsheets. Aerchain claims its AI-driven orchestration layer can automate up to 80% of operational tasks, significantly reducing turnaround time from days to hours and allowing teams to focus on strategic decision-making.
In addition to automation, the company offers a “spend intelligence” layer that continuously analyzes internal spending patterns alongside external market signals such as commodity prices and contract timelines. This enables enterprises to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage risks, and optimize vendor strategies more effectively.
Aerchain currently serves over 50 global enterprise clients across more than 30 countries and manages procurement spend worth billions of dollars. The company states that its platform has helped reduce procurement cycle times by more than 50%, demonstrating strong adoption in a traditionally under-digitized function.
The funding comes amid a broader shift toward agentic AI in enterprise software, where intelligent systems are increasingly expected to not only assist but also autonomously execute complex workflows. Aerchain’s approach reflects this transition, positioning procurement as one of the key areas for large-scale AI-driven transformation in enterprises.
