Agilisium, a leading provider of Agentic AI solutions for the life sciences sector, has partnered with the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) to launch India’s first Agentic AI-Powered Digital Health & Research Centre. The partnership was formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions.
The pioneering Centre will focus on integrating Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to drive transformation across healthcare delivery, medical research, and clinical education. Key application areas will include precision medicine, digital diagnostics, clinical trial innovation, and predictive healthcare analytics.
Agilisium will leverage its deep capabilities in biostatistics, data science, and GenAI, while SRIHER will provide the clinical data, infrastructure, and medical expertise needed to power the Centre’s initiatives. The collaboration will also work on co-developing AI-powered tools for clinical decision-making, hospital workflow optimization, and remote patient care. This includes the creation of virtual assistants and chatbots to support healthcare providers and enhance patient engagement.
“The Centre will harness Generative AI and Agentic AI to drive innovation in healthcare delivery, academic research, and clinical training,” the institutions confirmed.
A major component of the initiative involves piloting digital twins for delivering personalised treatments, as well as launching a Clean Health Data Initiative to standardise clinical data in alignment with international regulatory frameworks. To prepare the healthcare workforce for the AI era, the Centre will introduce a certification programme on Generative AI in Healthcare, aimed at upskilling students and professionals.
In addition to core research and development, Agilisium and SRIHER plan to co-host academic conferences, industry workshops, and CSR-supported research projects to accelerate innovation and foster knowledge exchange in the healthcare domain.
This strategic alliance reflects a shared vision to build a future-ready, AI-native healthcare ecosystem. As stated by both institutions, the partnership is “co-created in India and built to serve global needs,” positioning India at the forefront of AI-driven health transformation.
