Bringing with him over two decades of rich experience in housing finance, banking, and financial services, Sachdewa is expected to play a pivotal role in driving business growth, distribution strategy, and customer engagement for the company.
Prior to joining IIFL Home Loans, Sachdewa served as Head of Distribution & Transformation – Home Loans at Axis Bank, where he led key initiatives to strengthen distribution channels and optimize operational processes. His strategic contributions helped expand Axis Bank’s home loan footprint and enhance customer experience.
Sachdewa’s career includes an impressive 15+ year tenure with HDFC Limited, where he held multiple leadership positions such as National Head – Marketing, Regional Head for Dubai & GCC, and senior roles in business development, customer care, and distribution. During this period, he successfully drove business growth, managed large asset portfolios, and expanded the company’s presence in the Middle East.
Additionally, Sachdewa served as the Chief Executive Officer of HDFC Sales Private Limited, where he spearheaded large-scale sales transformation projects and led significant distribution network expansion across India. His earlier career also includes experience with Bajaj Capital Ltd as Branch Manager, where he strengthened retail finance distribution and customer acquisition strategies.
With this extensive leadership background spanning Axis Bank, HDFC Limited, HDFC Sales, and Bajaj Capital, Sachdewa is now tasked with shaping the future growth trajectory of IIFL Home Finance.
