
Akasa Air has appointed Naarayan T V as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective August 29, 2025. In his new role, Naarayan will oversee the airline’s marketing, corporate communications and ESG, customer experience, eCommerce, customer loyalty, and partnerships functions. He will also serve as a member of Akasa’s Executive Committee, playing a key role in shaping the airline’s strategic direction.
With nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and customer strategy, Naarayan brings deep expertise in brand building, customer engagement, and digital transformation to the fast-growing airline. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at prominent organizations such as IDFC FIRST Bank, PayPal, Standard Chartered Bank, and HSBC, where he led initiatives that strengthened brand presence, enhanced customer journeys, and delivered measurable business results.
As CMO, Naarayan is expected to spearhead Akasa Air’s marketing and customer-centric efforts during a critical growth phase for the airline. His mandate includes strengthening the airline’s brand identity, elevating customer experience both online and offline, and driving initiatives in sustainability and corporate social responsibility through ESG programs. He will also focus on expanding customer loyalty programs and building strategic partnerships to create a seamless travel experience.
