Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Appoints Anshika Dhawan as Chief Marketing Officer

Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Ltd. has announced the appointment of Anshika Dhawan as its new Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its leadership team at a pivotal moment as the company undergoes a major phase of transformation. In her new role, Dhawan will lead the overall marketing strategy with a sharp focus on strengthening brand equity, driving consumer-centric growth, and supporting the company’s long-term vision across energy storage, mobility solutions, and emerging new-age technologies.

Dhawan brings close to two decades of diverse professional experience across global energy, FMCG, and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Amara Raja, she spent more than seven years at Shell, where she most recently served as Global Sector Marketing Manager. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping sector-led marketing strategies and driving growth across complex global portfolios. Earlier at Shell, she held the role of Head of Marketing – Consumer Automotive India, where she led large-scale brand portfolio initiatives and growth programs in a highly competitive market.

Her career journey also includes senior leadership roles at leading global organisations such as AkzoNobel, PepsiCo, and Philips. Across these assignments, Dhawan developed deep expertise in category marketing, brand strategy, and integrated business planning, working across multiple markets and diverse consumer and enterprise segments. Her experience spans both global and Indian operations, giving her a well-rounded perspective on building strong, consistent, and future-ready brands.

The appointment underscores Amara Raja Energy and Mobility’s strategic focus on strengthening its brand as it evolves beyond its legacy businesses into a broader energy and mobility solutions company. With increasing emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and customer-centricity, the company is positioning itself to address changing market dynamics and emerging opportunities in advanced energy technologies.
