
Srinath Sivalenka has been appointed as Director – Enterprise AI Platforms at Amgen. In this role, he will lead the biopharmaceutical company’s AI infrastructure and platform strategy, focusing on scaling enterprise-grade artificial intelligence solutions across the organization.
His mandate includes advancing AI-driven initiatives to accelerate drug discovery, optimize clinical trial data processes, and improve operational efficiencies through integrated machine learning frameworks. The appointment reflects Amgen’s growing emphasis on leveraging AI to drive innovation and enhance decision-making across its global operations.
Prior to joining Amgen, Sivalenka built a strong career spanning over a decade in data science and generative AI. Most recently, he was associated with AB InBev, where he spent more than five years and held multiple leadership roles. He served as Director – Generative AI from February 2024 to March 2026, leading transformative initiatives across machine learning and advanced analytics.
During his tenure at AB InBev, he also worked as Senior Manager – Data Science, focusing on Generative AI capabilities and initiatives such as Algoselling. Earlier, he was part of the company’s Z-Tech division as Senior Manager – Fintech Data Science, contributing to data-driven innovation in financial technology solutions.
Before that, Sivalenka was with Microsoft as a Delivery Data Scientist for nearly four years, where he worked on large-scale data science projects and enterprise analytics solutions. He began his journey in the data science domain at Verizon, serving as a Data Scientist for two years and gaining foundational experience in predictive analytics and machine learning.
With extensive expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, and generative AI, Sivalenka brings a strong blend of technical depth and leadership experience. His appointment is expected to play a key role in advancing Amgen’s AI capabilities and strengthening its technology-driven approach to innovation in the biopharmaceutical sector.
