Amit Govind has been promoted to the role of Global Head of Marketing – Sustainability Services at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), marking a significant milestone in his career. In this newly elevated position, Amit will drive the company’s global marketing strategy focused on sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), helping to strengthen TCS’s sustainability narrative and ESG positioning across key markets.
With a rich background in communications, digital media, and brand storytelling, Amit is well-positioned to lead this critical function as businesses worldwide increasingly prioritize sustainability-led growth. His strategic insight and creative approach have been central to TCS’s brand evolution in recent years.

Prior to this promotion, Amit held the role of Head of Internal Communication at TCS, where he was instrumental in driving internal engagement across the organization. He also played a key role in shaping the company’s digital footprint, having led TCS’s social media strategy for seven years, during which time he significantly enhanced the company’s digital presence and engagement.
Before joining TCS, Amit held senior marketing and communications roles across a variety of industries. His experience includes working at Germin8, CometChat, and Perfect Relations, where he honed his skills in consulting, brand messaging, and client strategy. He also led communication functions at Audi India and LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech, contributing to the growth and visibility of both brands.
Amit’s elevation comes at a time when sustainability has become a business imperative for global enterprises.
