Anupam Onkar Singh has taken charge as the Head of Human Resources at Exide Energy Solutions Ltd, the company behind India’s pioneering Lithium-ion cell Giga plant. In this role, Anupam will lead the company’s HR strategy, strengthen its organizational culture, and drive talent planning to align with Exide Energy’s rapid growth and vision of enabling a cleaner energy future for India.

Anupam brings with him over 15 years of experience in HR transformation, leadership development, and change management, primarily within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. He has previously spearheaded people strategies at ESL Steel Limited, Galaxy Surfactants Limited, and RSPL Group, where he played a key role in areas such as workforce planning, HRIS implementation, and cultural transformation.
Earlier in his career, Anupam also worked with Titan Company Limited, Claris Limited, and VISPL, where he contributed to optimizing HR operations and aligning human resource goals with broader business priorities. His work across these organizations has been marked by his ability to lead scalable HR initiatives and foster high-performance cultures in complex operational environments.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Anupam holds a strong academic foundation in human capital management and organizational design. His appointment is seen as a strategic move by Exide Energy Solutions as it ramps up efforts to support India’s transition to clean energy through indigenous lithium-ion cell production.
At Exide Energy, Anupam is expected to focus on building agile, resilient teams capable of scaling with the company’s ambitious clean-tech agenda.
