Apollo Micro Systems has secured fresh defence orders worth ₹100.25 crore in the ordinary course of its business, reinforcing its growing presence in India’s defence and aerospace ecosystem. According to a regulatory filing, the orders have been received from a private company and are deliverable to the Ministry of Defence, with execution scheduled within a four-month timeframe. The development highlights sustained demand for indigenous unmanned and electronic systems as India accelerates defence modernisation.
“Apollo Micro Systems, in the ordinary course of its business, has received orders amounting to INR 1,002.47 million from a private company, deliverable to the Ministry of Defence, for the supply of Unmanned Aerial Systems. The said orders are to be executed within a period of four months.” the company said in its regulator filing on Friday, December 12.
The latest order win adds momentum to Apollo Micro Systems’ expanding defence portfolio, particularly in unmanned aerial systems, which are increasingly critical for surveillance, reconnaissance, and tactical operations. The company specialises in the design, development, and manufacture of advanced electronic, electro-mechanical, and engineering systems, supplying mission-critical solutions across defence, aerospace, and homeland security segments.
This order also comes close on the heels of a major strategic announcement earlier this month. On December 9, Apollo Micro Systems revealed plans to invest ₹1,500 crore in a greenfield defence manufacturing expansion in Telangana. The proposed investment is aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities under the government’s push for self-reliance in defence production. The expansion will include the establishment of state-of-the-art facilities for missile warheads, rocket motors, and small, medium, and large calibre artillery systems and ammunition. In addition, the project will focus on the development of complete ammunition systems for artillery, rockets, and other armaments.
From a financial and operational standpoint, Apollo Micro Systems continues to demonstrate strong order visibility. As of September 30, 2025, the company reported an order book of ₹785 crore for the first half of FY26, reflecting healthy demand across its core defence and aerospace offerings. This robust pipeline positions the company well for sustained revenue growth over the coming quarters.
Investor sentiment around the company has also strengthened significantly. Apollo Micro Systems’ share price has surged 124.58% so far this year, underlining market confidence in its execution capabilities, expanding order book, and long-term growth prospects within India’s defence manufacturing landscape.
Together, the fresh UAS orders, large-scale investment plans, and a strong order book signal Apollo Micro Systems’ growing role as a key domestic supplier supporting the Ministry of Defence and India’s broader defence indigenisation goals.
