Radware has announced the appointment of Avesh Malik as its new Director – Cloud Security, a move aimed at bolstering the company’s cybersecurity capabilities across India, the Middle East, and the SAARC region. In this key leadership role, Malik will oversee the development and execution of advanced digital defense strategies, helping organizations fortify their infrastructure in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
With a strong track record spanning over 15 years in cybersecurity, Avesh brings deep domain knowledge and hands-on expertise across critical security areas, including API security, DDoS mitigation, web application firewalls (WAF), bot management, and application delivery controllers (ADC).

Malik’s appointment reflects Radware’s growing focus on providing cutting-edge cloud and application security solutions to large enterprises and managed service providers. Prior to this new role, he served as Technical Head – India & Middle East at Radware, where he played a crucial role in leading high-stakes security projects and safeguarding critical infrastructure for major clients.
His technical proficiency extends to modern security frameworks such as DevSecOps, GTM (Go-To-Market) security strategies, and MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) enablement, making him a well-rounded leader capable of driving both strategic vision and execution.
Before joining Radware, Malik worked as a Senior Engineer at Wipro, where he gained foundational experience in designing and managing enterprise security systems. This early exposure to large-scale IT environments helped shape his approach to building resilient, scalable, and intelligent cybersecurity architectures.
With cyber threats becoming more frequent and sophisticated, Malik’s leadership is expected to help Radware strengthen its regional presence and deliver tailored security solutions for its growing client base.
