Axirium Aerospace has raised US$3.5 million in seed funding, a round led by Shastra VC and BEENEXT, with participation from angel investors Ashish Gupta and PVS Raju. The capital will accelerate the company’s plans to establish its first advanced production facility and enhance its precision manufacturing capabilities—an initiative that positions Axirium to meet the rising global demand for dependable aerospace suppliers. Founded by Nishant Khurana, Neeraj Agarwal, and Piyush Agarwal, the company leverages deep technical and supply chain experience drawn from their prior work at Tata Advanced Systems Ltd.
Outlining Axirium’s long-term goals, CEO Nishant Khurana said their mission is to build world-class precision capabilities that not only meet global standards but redefine them. Investors share this conviction. Vasant Rao of Shastra VC described the development as “a seismic shift in global aerospace supply chains with India poised for significant gains,” while Anirudh Garg, Partner at BEENEXT, highlighted the company’s disciplined foundation rooted in lean processes, Six Sigma methodologies, and digital manufacturing.
As global aerospace players search for reliable and cost-efficient alternatives, Axirium aims to position itself as a trusted manufacturing partner by delivering defect-free components with consistent on-time performance. The fresh funding will support team expansion, increase production capacity, and strengthen collaboration with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers—further advancing India’s emergence as a strong and credible aerospace manufacturing hub.
