Bharti Airtel has elevated Neha S. to the role of Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources – Airtel Business, marking a significant leadership transition within the telecom major’s enterprise-focused arm. Neha announced the development on LinkedIn, describing the move as a new phase in her career following an 18-year journey across multiple HR leadership roles within Airtel’s consumer, market operations, and group businesses. She termed the transition “both continuity and change,” reflecting a blend of her deep people and culture expertise with new organisational challenges in the B2B domain.
In her new role, Neha will lead the HR strategy for Airtel Business at a time when the company is scaling its enterprise offerings across connectivity, cloud, data centres, and digital solutions. Her mandate will include strengthening leadership capability, driving talent development, and ensuring organisational readiness to support Airtel’s growing enterprise ambitions in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven market.
Neha joined Bharti Airtel in 2007 and has since built a strong track record across a wide spectrum of human resources functions. Over the years, she has held senior leadership roles spanning HR operations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, regional HR leadership, and group HR at Bharti Enterprises. Her diverse experience has enabled her to work closely with business leaders across geographies and functions, shaping people strategies aligned with business growth and transformation.
Most recently, she served as EVP and Head of HR – Market Operations and Contractual Workforce, where she was responsible for managing large, diverse workforces and driving HR initiatives at scale. In this role, she focused on workforce optimisation, engagement, and capability building across Airtel’s market operations, playing a key role in supporting frontline and contractual talent.
Her elevation comes at a critical juncture for Airtel Business, which continues to expand its portfolio of enterprise solutions while responding to evolving customer needs and rapid technological change. As enterprises increasingly look for integrated digital and connectivity solutions, Airtel Business is sharpening its focus on organisational agility, leadership depth, and future-ready skills.
With nearly two decades at Airtel, Neha’s appointment underscores the company’s emphasis on leadership continuity and internal talent development. Her deep institutional knowledge, combined with her experience across multiple HR disciplines, positions her well to lead the people agenda for Airtel Business as it enters its next phase of growth.
