Bikash Dash Promoted to Senior Director, Data & AI at Capgemini; To Lead Generative AI Practice in India

Capgemini has elevated Bikash Dash to the role of Senior Director, Data & AI, where he will now spearhead the Agentic & Generative AI Practice for the company in India. His promotion reflects a continued trajectory of growth since joining the organization in 2019, during which he has moved from Program Manager to Director and now Senior Director, delivering high-impact AI and data-driven solutions for global clients.

Over the past six years, Bikash has played a pivotal role in shaping Capgemini’s Data & AI strategy—driving transformative engagements, scaling AI adoption, and aligning cutting-edge technologies with clients’ evolving business needs. His contributions have been instrumental in building high-performing teams and accelerating digital transformation across industries.

With his new mandate, Bikash will now lead efforts to expand Capgemini’s Generative AI and automation capabilities, helping enterprises reimagine operations, boost customer engagement, and unlock new avenues for business growth.

Prior to Capgemini, Bikash gained cross-industry experience through impactful roles at Boeing, Cognizant, Mu Sigma Inc., and Wipro Technologies. At Boeing, he worked as a Data Scientist, contributing to advanced analytics and machine learning projects. His roles at Cognizant and Mu Sigma saw him leading data science teams across domains such as finance, healthcare, and retail. Early in his career at Wipro, he focused on insurance analytics and risk modeling, laying a strong technical foundation for his future in AI.

He began his journey in data as a Business Intelligence Intern at Oracle, gaining hands-on experience in analytics and data warehousing—skills that would later shape his leadership in enterprise AI.

With this elevation, Bikash is set to further advance Capgemini’s vision for Gen AI, positioning the company at the forefront of AI-led innovation and enterprise transformation. His leadership is expected to be central to strengthening Capgemini’s ability to deliver next-gen solutions that combine AI, automation, and business strategy in an increasingly competitive landscape.
