
BlackRock has appointed Dipeeka Walvatkar Pendurkar as Vice President – HR, Employee Relations (APAC), reinforcing its people and governance strategy across the Asia-Pacific region.
In her new capacity, she will oversee complex workplace investigations related to conduct, discrimination, harassment, and policy violations, ensuring outcomes that are fair, consistent, and aligned with global legal and compliance standards. Her mandate also includes advising business leaders and HR teams on disciplinary matters, redundancies, and other sensitive employee issues.
Dipeeka will play a strategic role in shaping employee relations frameworks during mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and market expansion initiatives. Working closely with Legal, Compliance, and HR stakeholders, she will focus on risk mitigation, strengthening governance structures, and driving operational excellence across APAC operations.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Dipeeka built a strong HR leadership portfolio across global organizations. At ByteDance, she spent over six years as HR Operations Leader and POSH Internal Committee Chairperson, leading India HR operations while supporting APAC HR services teams. In this role, she managed employee relations investigations, compliance programs, benefits administration, and large-scale HR transformation initiatives, while advancing process automation and governance enhancements.
Earlier, she held multiple HR services leadership roles at Amazon, where she contributed to employee lifecycle management, HR strategy implementation, engagement programs, and data-driven decision-making through dashboard reporting.
She also worked with BNY Mellon in HR Operations, supporting employee relations initiatives and audit processes. Dipeeka began her professional journey with Cipla as an HR intern.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, bringing over a decade of cross-industry HR expertise to her new leadership role at BlackRock.
