Burkhan World Investments Group to Invest ₹1,500 Crore in Bengaluru AI Server Manufacturing Hub

In a major boost to India’s AI and semiconductor ecosystem, US-based Burkhan World Investments Group has announced plans to invest ₹1,500 crore in establishing an advanced AI server manufacturing facility near Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru. The strategic initiative aims to make Karnataka a central hub for AI hardware innovation and strengthen India’s position in the global technology supply chain.
“US-based Burkhan World Investments Group is set to invest ₹1,500 crore near Bangalore International Airport Ltd Airport (KIA) to establish an advanced AI server manufacturing facility — a move that positions Karnataka as a key hub for AI hardware and semiconductor innovation.”
The project, developed in partnership with GIGABYTE and Cera Network, will focus on manufacturing high-performance CPUs, GPUs, and AI-ready network switches, catering to the rapidly expanding demand for compute infrastructure across cloud providers, data centers, and AI startups. The facility will incorporate the latest design and testing technologies to ensure global standards in efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
In addition to boosting domestic manufacturing capacity, Burkhan’s initiative includes skill development programs aimed at nurturing AI and semiconductor engineering talent across Karnataka. These programs will be developed in collaboration with local academic institutions and technology training centers, helping create a highly skilled workforce to support India’s growing digital infrastructure.
The investment marks a significant milestone in the Make in India and Digital India missions, aligning with both the state and central government’s broader vision of promoting self-reliance in advanced technology production. Industry observers view this as a key step toward reducing dependency on imported AI compute systems and strengthening India’s role in the next wave of technological innovation.
“With this, Bengaluru is not just coding the future of AI — it’s building it.”
The upcoming manufacturing hub is expected to attract further ancillary investments and create thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities. As AI-driven transformation accelerates across industries, Burkhan’s project positions Bengaluru as a critical global node for AI hardware design, production, and deployment — reinforcing the city’s status as the Silicon Capital of India.
