Cognizant has appointed Thirumala Arohi Mamunooru as its new Chief Learning Officer, reaffirming the company’s focus on strengthening its global learning and skilling ecosystem. With more than three decades of experience in education, training, and human capital development, Arohi will play a pivotal role in shaping Cognizant’s approach to future-ready talent development.
Arohi joins Cognizant after a distinguished 25-year tenure at Infosys, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Education, Training & Assessment, and Learning Platforms. At Infosys, he was instrumental in conceptualizing and launching large-scale digital learning initiatives including Infosys Wingspan, Infosys Meridian, and Infosys Springboard. These platforms became cornerstones of Infosys’s learning ecosystem, embedding continuous upskilling and reskilling as critical enablers of business strategy and digital transformation.
In his new role at Cognizant, Arohi is expected to leverage this expertise to design and implement innovative learning frameworks that align closely with business needs. His experience spans digital-first learning, academia-industry collaboration, and building scalable platforms that integrate seamlessly into enterprise workflows.
