Amol Amberkar has been elevated to the role of Practice Director at CrowdStrike, where he will lead the strategic expansion of the organization’s cybersecurity services. In this leadership capacity, he will focus on advancing threat protection and incident response capabilities while guiding enterprise clients through complex security transformations. His mandate also includes enabling the seamless integration of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to help organizations defend against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats in hybrid environments.
With over 21 years of experience in cyber defense, Amol has built deep expertise in cloud and identity security. Since joining CrowdStrike in early 2024, he has played a key role in strengthening its cybersecurity practice, most recently serving as Practice Leader for Cloud & Identity Security, where he contributed to expanding service capabilities and driving customer-focused security outcomes.
Prior to CrowdStrike, his career included significant roles at Microsoft as Senior Sales Specialist – Security, along with senior technical positions at F5, Symantec, and Blue Coat Systems. Across these organizations, he developed strong capabilities in XDR, identity and access management (IAM), cloud SIEM, and solution architecture, consistently delivering enterprise-scale security strategies and implementations.
Combining strategic vision with deep technical expertise, Amol is well-positioned to drive innovation in cybersecurity services at CrowdStrike. His leadership is expected to further strengthen the company’s global capabilities, enhance its service offerings, and support organizations in navigating an increasingly complex and evolving threat landscape.
