ANJ Group has appointed Dr. Ashfaq Ahad as its new Chief People Officer/Chief Human Resources Officer (CPO/CHRO), strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned expert in people strategy, talent development, and organizational transformation. In his new role, Dr. Ahad will be responsible for shaping ANJ Group’s people-first culture, driving leadership development, and aligning HR strategy with the company’s long-term business objectives.
Dr. Ahad brings a diverse portfolio of experience across industries and organizations. Most recently, he served as Vice President at Delhivery, where he was instrumental in laying the foundation for a continuous learning ecosystem. His entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding CollegeDekho’s CLD Academy and Talentedge_In Academy (later acquired by upGrad), both of which made significant contributions to the edtech and talent development space. He also served on the board of the Fazlani Academy of Business Sciences (FABS), where he oversaw multiple business schools across Mumbai, Gurugram, and Bhubaneswar.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Ahad gained extensive corporate experience through leadership roles at People Edge Management, Tech Mahindra Business Services, Hutchison 3G, Syntel Inc, GE, and ICICI Bank. Across these positions, he specialized in HR consulting, talent acquisition, leadership building, and organizational development, building a track record of aligning HR functions with evolving business needs.
His career reflects a balance of corporate leadership and entrepreneurial innovation, giving him a unique perspective on scaling talent ecosystems and fostering high-performance work cultures.
