Biorad Medisys Pvt Ltd, Pune, has announced the appointment of Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Dr. Bhattacharjee brings over two decades of global HR leadership experience to the role, having worked extensively across India, Southeast Asia, and South Africa. Before joining Biorad Medisys, he served as Human Resources Director for Foundry India & Southeast Asia at Vesuvius, in addition to leading HR at Vesuvius IT & Shared Services Pvt. Ltd. and Foseco International (Thailand) Ltd., where he managed diverse and cross-functional teams across geographies.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Bhattacharjee held multiple senior positions at GKN Automotive plc, including Managing Director & VP India Operations, Human Resources Director India & South Africa, and Human Resources Director India, where he played a critical role in strengthening workforce capabilities and operational excellence. He also served as Vice President – Human Resources at Fresenius Kabi India, where he was instrumental in designing HR frameworks that supported business scalability and growth.
Known for his expertise in organizational development, change management, and leadership development, Dr. Bhattacharjee is widely regarded as a transformational HR leader who blends strategic vision with execution capability.
