National: The E-Gaming Federation (EGF), India’s leading self-regulatory body for online skill gaming, announced today the appointment of Gaurav Shangari as the Director of Policy Communication & Outreach.
In this position, Gaurav will lead EGF’s initiatives across policy communication, media relations, and ecosystem outreach, primarily focusing on advancing the federation’s mission of creating a transparent, accountable, and sustainable future for online skill gaming in India.
Most recently serving in the position of Group Business Director at Avian We, Gaurav played a key role in advising and leading ESG, sustainability, and policy-focused communications for renowned corporates, philanthropic organizations, and nonprofit foundations. Possessing more than 15 years of expertise in strategic marketing and communications, he has led impactful campaigns that transformed narratives, created public awareness, and fostered thought-leadership for organizations including Wadhwani Foundation, PepsiCo India, Godrej Enterprises Group, and The Convergence Foundation. Gaurav brings a distinctive blend of strategy, storytelling, and stakeholder management and was acknowledged in the exchange4media 40 Under 40 list (2024) for his impact on the communications sector.
