E2E Cloud Wins ₹177 Crore IndiaAI Mission Contract, to Power Nation’s First Foundational AI Model
E2E Cloud Networks has secured a ₹177 crore contract under MeitY’s IndiaAI Mission, a significant step toward building India’s AI infrastructure. The mandate tasks E2E with supplying GPU resources for the country’s first foundational AI model, marking a milestone in India’s ambition to create homegrown large language models.

In its NSE filing, E2E confirmed the immediate deployment of H100 SXM and H200 SXM GPUs to Bengaluru-based Gnani.ai. These will deliver nearly 1.3 crore GPU hours over a 360-day period, running on a unified InfiniBand network fabric to enable high-speed, scalable training for the model.

Strengthening its AI capabilities, E2E’s board also approved the acquisition of JarvisLabs.ai’s assets, including intellectual property, hardware, domains, and customer base. Vishnu Subramanian, founder and CEO of JarvisLabs.ai, will join E2E as part of the integration.

This contract is a major boost for Gnani.ai, one of four startups selected under the IndiaAI Mission. The company is building India’s first voice-centric large language model (LLM) with 14 billion parameters, supporting 40+ languages including over 15 Indian languages. The startup also recently launched Inya.ai, a no-code agentic AI platform designed to help enterprises deploy voice and chat agents seamlessly.

The IndiaAI Mission is rapidly scaling its compute pillar through collaborations with key public and private sector players such as Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), NxtGen Cloud Technologies, Tata Communications, CtrlS Datacenters, and Yotta Data Services. This ecosystem approach underscores India’s determination to build a domestic AI backbone capable of competing with global players.

E2E’s dual move—winning the MeitY contract and acquiring JarvisLabs.ai—positions the company as a central player in India’s AI infrastructure expansion, supporting both innovation and accessibility in the country’s emerging AI ecosystem.
