Edtech Startup Qweebi Secures Seed Funding for US Growth

Qweebi, a K-12 learning platform focused on STEM and robotics education, has raised $500,000 in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The round also saw participation from prominent individual investors including Jeroen Tas, former co-founder of Mphasis, and Arpit Jain, co-founder and CEO of SplashLearn.

The company plans to deploy the newly raised capital toward further product development and expanding its reach across school districts in the United States. The funding will support its efforts to scale adoption of its digital-first approach to hands-on STEM education.

Qweebi offers a browser-based platform that enables schools to conduct engineering and robotics projects without the need for physical kits or hardware. Through a library of pre-designed project modules, the platform provides educators with ready-to-use lesson plans and teaching guides, significantly reducing preparation time and simplifying classroom execution.

The platform addresses a key challenge in STEM education—delivering hands-on learning experiences within the constraints of time, cost, and logistics. Traditionally, teachers spend considerable time sourcing materials such as motors, sensors, and batteries, while classroom sessions are often limited by setup and cleanup requirements. Qweebi’s fully digital approach removes these barriers, allowing students to build virtual prototypes that behave like real-world systems, thereby maximizing active learning time during class.

As a result, educators can deliver comprehensive, project-based learning experiences within just a few class sessions, rather than over extended periods. This approach enables more consistent and scalable implementation of hands-on STEM education across classrooms.

The company has already demonstrated strong traction, with more than 5,200 schools across all 50 U.S. states adopting the platform, reaching over 100,000 students. Notably, this growth has been largely organic, driven by teacher-led adoption and word-of-mouth across social platforms.

Commenting on the investment, Mitesh Shah said, “STEM education is becoming increasingly important in preparing students for the future workforce, yet schools often struggle with the costs and logistics involved in delivering hands-on learning. Qweebi’s browser-based approach removes these barriers by making engineering and robotics education accessible without requiring physical infrastructure. Their strong organic adoption across U.S. schools demonstrates the real demand for scalable digital STEM learning solutions, and we believe the team is well positioned to expand this model globally.”

Sharing his perspective, Vivek Seetharaman said, “If you really want to master something, you have to actually do it, you can’t just read about it or watch someone else do it. That’s something we all know, and it’s the essence of hands-on learning. School systems around the world are increasingly moving beyond books and videos toward hands-on experiences. But in real classrooms, cost and friction still make it extremely difficult for teachers to run these projects at scale. At Qweebi, we’re removing these barriers to make hands-on learning simple and accessible, so every child has the opportunity to truly learn-by-doing.”

With increasing emphasis on experiential learning and STEM readiness, Qweebi is positioning itself to play a key role in transforming how engineering and robotics education is delivered, both in the United States and globally.
