Mercedes-Benz India has announced the appointment of Emrah Ozer as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 2025. As part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance its finance and controlling operations, Ozer will also assume the role of Executive Director and join the Board of Mercedes-Benz India. He succeeds Evren Cakabey, who has transitioned to the position of Executive Director & CFO at Mercedes-Benz G GmbH in Austria.
With over two decades of extensive international financial experience, Ozer’s career encompasses roles at Mercedes-Benz Otomotiv Turkey, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Benz AG, and Smart. Notably, he served as Head of Finance & Controlling at Mercedes-Benz Otomotiv Turkey, where he led significant financial initiatives. His professional journey has taken him across various regions, including India and the NAFTA region, making him a seasoned expert in global financial operations.
Ozer’s appointment reflects Mercedes-Benz’s strategic focus on reinforcing its leadership team with professionals who bring a wealth of expertise and global perspectives.
