
Jerin Verghese has stepped into a new leadership role as Director – Brand, Marketing and Communications at EY India, marking a significant milestone in her long-standing career with the organization. She was most recently serving as Associate Director, and her elevation reflects her nearly two-decade journey with the firm.
In her new role, Verghese will be responsible for shaping EY India’s brand strategy, strengthening integrated marketing communications, and leading storytelling initiatives to enhance the firm’s market presence. Her mandate also includes driving go-to-market strategies, managing media relations, and amplifying visibility across key sectors.
Sharing the update, Verghese reflected on her 17-year journey at EY, which began as an Assistant Manager in Tax media. Over the years, she has taken on diverse responsibilities, continuously expanding her expertise across brand, marketing, and communications while adapting to evolving business needs.
With over 20 years of experience, she is recognized as a strategic communications leader with a strong track record in brand positioning, media messaging, and crisis communications. She has also played an advisory role to senior leadership on communication strategies and reputation management.
Prior to joining EY, Verghese was associated with Sampark Public Relations and Goodword Communication, where she built a strong foundation in public relations and corporate communications.
Her elevation underscores EY India’s continued focus on strengthening its brand and communications leadership as it enhances engagement across markets and stakeholders.
