Bengaluru:
Mobility-tech startup ReadyAssist has appointed Rohit Suri, former President and Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India, as a Senior Advisor. Suri will play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and driving innovation in service delivery.
During his 14-year tenure at JLR India, Suri was instrumental in establishing and growing the luxury carmaker’s footprint in the country. His leadership helped strengthen brand positioning, promote local manufacturing, and enhance customer experience, contributing significantly to JLR’s success in the Indian market.
Founded in 2015, ReadyAssist delivers 24/7 roadside assistance, emergency support, and on-site repair services across vehicle segments—ranging from internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric vehicles (EVs) and CNG-powered models. The company leverages AI and machine learning to efficiently allocate service professionals based on real-time customer needs.
Suri’s appointment comes at a time when ReadyAssist is expanding its capabilities in servicing next-generation vehicles and bolstering partnerships with OEMs. His industry experience is expected to support the company’s ambitions of scaling its EV and CNG servicing network while strengthening customer engagement strategies.
ReadyAssist currently operates across more than 19,000 pin codes and has a network of over 11,000 service professionals, including 6,000+ tow trucks and 3,000+ EV-certified mechanics.
Commenting on his new role, Suri said, “The mobility sector is undergoing a transformative shift, and AI-driven service ecosystems are critical to meeting evolving customer expectations. ReadyAssist has been at the forefront of this evolution by building reliable and scalable service models. I am excited to contribute to its vision as the company accelerates its journey into the future of mobility while continuing to support conventional platforms.”
Vimal Singh, Founder and CEO of ReadyAssist, welcomed the appointment, saying, “Rohit’s decision to join us is a strong endorsement of our vision. His deep expertise in the Indian auto industry, especially in the premium segment, and his passion for innovation and customer satisfaction, make him a valuable addition to our leadership. As we expand our reach and redefine vehicle servicing in India, his strategic guidance will be pivotal.”
Suri’s onboarding marks a significant milestone for ReadyAssist as it gears up for the next phase of growth and aims to redefine standards in the mobility service ecosystem.
