Varun Dubey, former Chief Marketing Officer at Ola, has stepped into entrepreneurship with a new venture aimed at transforming India’s healthcare delivery landscape. According to sources familiar with the development, Dubey has founded a company named Superhealth Hospitals Pvt Ltd, which will operate a chain of hospitals focused on improving patient and doctor experiences.
The Bengaluru-registered startup is currently in early-stage funding discussions with Sparrow Capital, a prominent venture capital firm. The proposed round is expected to raise between ₹12-13 crore, the sources said.
While the company is still in stealth mode, Dubey has offered a glimpse into his motivation on LinkedIn, stating:
“Digging into why healthcare sucks so much and obsessing over how to fix it for patients and doctors because it seems like both are stuck in this horrible system.”
His post, listed under the tag “Stealth Mode,” hints at a mission-driven approach aimed at reimagining India’s healthcare ecosystem from the ground up.
The venture reflects a growing trend of tech and marketing professionals entering the healthcare space with a focus on user-centric innovation. More details about Superhealth’s model and roadmap are expected to emerge in the coming months.
