Mumbai-based health and insurance startup Loop has appointed Harpreet Singh Rai as its President of Healthcare. Rai, the former CEO of health-tracking wearable brand Oura, is also an early investor in Loop.
In his new role, Rai will lead healthcare product development, working closely with the medical, product, and engineering teams to enhance user experience and help individuals manage their health more effectively.
During his tenure at Oura (2018–2021), Rai oversaw the launch of two versions of the Oura Ring and drove sales of over one million units globally. Prior to that, he spent nine years managing healthcare and tech portfolios at Eminence Capital and began his career at Morgan Stanley.
Commenting on his new role, Harpreet said Loop’s focus on accessible and measurable healthcare is what stood out to him, adding that he looks forward to making a meaningful impact on the health of working Indians.
Loop currently caters to over 850,000 employees across 1,200+ companies through its integrated insurance and primary care model.
