Glimpse raises $35 million to scale AI-driven dispute automation for CPG brands

Glimpse, a Y Combinator-backed fintech startup, has raised $35 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from 8VC and Y Combinator. The funding will be used to accelerate the company’s AI-powered platform designed to automate dispute tracking and deduction management for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.

Founded by Akash Raju, Anuj Mehta, and Kushal Negi, Glimpse pivoted to its current model after identifying inefficiencies in retail finance operations. The platform addresses a major pain point for brands—retail deductions—where retailers often pay less than invoiced amounts due to claims such as damaged goods or supply chain issues, many of which can be invalid.

Glimpse uses AI agents to automate the entire workflow, including aggregating data from multiple systems, classifying deductions, validating claims against internal data, and filing disputes. This significantly reduces manual effort and helps brands recover lost revenue that would otherwise go unchallenged due to operational complexity.

The company’s solution is particularly relevant in a fragmented retail environment where finance teams often rely on spreadsheets and multiple portals to manage disputes. According to the company, such inefficiencies can lead to substantial revenue leakage, with errors in deductions being more common than expected.

Glimpse has already gained traction with over 200 brands, including well-known names in the CPG sector, and claims its platform helps recover millions of dollars while saving significant operational time.

With total funding now reaching $52 million, the startup plans to expand its capabilities beyond dispute tracking into broader retail financial operations, including compliance automation and predictive analytics. The latest round highlights growing investor interest in vertical AI solutions that address specific enterprise inefficiencies and deliver measurable business impact.
