Google and Telangana Launch AI-Focused Startup Hub at T-Hub Hyderabad

Google and the Telangana government have jointly launched the Google for Startups Hub at T-Hub in Hyderabad, establishing a dedicated centre aimed at accelerating the state’s growing startup and AI innovation ecosystem. The new Hub will provide select AI-driven founders with free coworking space for one year, along with curated access to venture capital networks, positioning it as one of the most comprehensive support programmes for early-stage entrepreneurs in the region. “With this launch, we’re further expanding our innovation ecosystem, one designed not only to help startups build great technology products but to strengthen their entire capacity to innovate,” said D Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s IT minister.

Integrated into the global Google for Startups network, the Hub is designed to support founders across the entire lifecycle—from incubation and product development to scaling and global visibility. It offers structured mentoring, deep AI and ML expertise, access to Google’s developer tools and UX guidance, and modern physical infrastructure tailored for high-growth technology ventures. Collaborative spaces within the Hub will bring together founders, engineers, investors and ecosystem partners, enabling a steady exchange of ideas and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Google specialists across AI, product design, and go-to-market strategies will conduct focused workshops for both startup teams and emerging student founders.

A key priority of the initiative is expanding opportunities for women entrepreneurs and innovators from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, ensuring that underrepresented groups gain equitable access to cutting-edge resources. The programme aims to accelerate innovation by building a community where experimentation, rapid prototyping and knowledge-sharing become foundational elements. “By working closely with Google, we are ensuring that we are ahead of our innovation curve and founders from across Telangana can access world-class resources without leaving the state,” said Sanjay Kumar, special chief secretary for IT.

Google India’s country manager Preeti Lobana noted that the collaboration strengthens the state’s innovation infrastructure by bringing Google’s capabilities across Cloud, Android, Play, Ads, and its broader developer and startup programmes directly to Telangana’s founders.

With this initiative, Telangana continues to position itself as a leading innovation hub in India, while Google deepens its commitment to supporting AI-driven entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth.
