Google is deepening its commitment to India’s AI startup landscape with the launch of a three-month accelerator programme dedicated to AI-first startups. Targeting companies in the Seed to Series A stages, the initiative is designed to support startups building core AI products, platforms, or foundational models, with a strong focus on scalable solutions aimed at large markets.
Among the 20 startups selected for the inaugural cohort are Nawgati, BigOHealth, GenWise, FrontPage, kindlife.in, Sub-K, Sunfox Technologies, DeepVisionTech.AI, and TrueFan AI. These companies will benefit from expert mentorship, product development guidance, and access to Google’s global network, including resources across AI, cloud, Android, and product growth. Each startup will also work closely with a dedicated Startup Success Manager throughout the programme.
“This opportunity will not only accelerate our technological evolution but also sharpen our ability to create value for fuel station owners, fleet operators and everyday consumers,” said Vaibhav Kaushik, CEO and cofounder of Nawgati, a fuel-tech company chosen for the cohort.
The accelerator represents a significant expansion of Google’s startup engagement in India, building on its decade-long track record of supporting over 230 Indian startups through its Google for Startups Accelerator. This edition is launched in collaboration with the MeitY Startup Hub, marking a strong public-private synergy to accelerate AI innovation in the country.
In addition to core accelerator programming, Google is introducing new components like genAI buildathons, AI masterclasses, and a final Demo Day, where startups will pitch their progress and products to VCs, Google teams, mentors, and other key players in India’s growing AI ecosystem.
With AI emerging as a key driver of digital transformation, this initiative underscores Google’s commitment to nurturing responsible AI innovation and equipping Indian startups with the tools, talent, and visibility to scale globally.
