His appointment marks a significant milestone in GTT’s journey to scale its enterprise AI and insurance data intelligence platforms globally while deepening partnerships with large enterprises, financial institutions, and government stakeholders. Sheikh Hamad brings decades of experience across economic strategy, statistics, national planning, and governance. He previously served as Director General of the General Secretariat for Development Planning (GSDP) in Qatar and Chairman of the Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA), where he played a pivotal role in shaping the Qatar National Vision 2030 initiative and driving national census and economic development programs. He has also served on the boards of major Qatari institutions, including Qatar National Bank (QNB), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), and Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem).
