
Harshvardhan Chauhan has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Senior Management Personnel at Metro Brands Limited, effective February 23, 2026.
The company has formally notified the BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) of the leadership appointment in compliance with regulatory requirements. Chauhan will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Nissam Joseph and will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s overall marketing strategy.
In his new role, Chauhan will lead brand positioning, consumer engagement, and integrated marketing initiatives as Metro Brands accelerates its omnichannel growth and retail expansion across India. His mandate includes strengthening brand equity, driving customer acquisition and retention, and enhancing the company’s competitive positioning in the evolving footwear and lifestyle market.
Chauhan brings over 18 years of cross-sector experience spanning retail, fashion, lifestyle, grocery, home, FMCG, and e-commerce. Prior to joining Metro Brands, he held leadership roles at Trident Group India, RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, and DLF Limited, where he led marketing transformation, brand building, and digital growth initiatives.
Beyond his corporate leadership roles, Chauhan is also the Founding Visionary of Bharat YEF – Young Entrepreneurs Fund, underscoring his commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial ecosystems. He is the author of Nobody Cares About Your Brand, reflecting his sharp focus on brand-led growth and consumer-centric strategy.
