Havas India has announced the appointment of Arindam Sengupta as Managing Director of Havas People India and Chief Client Officer at Havas Creative Network India, further solidifying his leadership presence within the group. Arindam has been serving as Managing Director of Havas People since 2023, where he has been driving employer branding and employee communications initiatives.
Arindam’s association with Havas began in 2016, when he joined as Managing Partner for West & South. Over the years, he rose through the ranks to become Chief Client Officer at Havas Worldwide and Head of Group Integration, working closely with top global and Indian brands. His portfolio includes collaborations with Citroën, JBL, Harman Kardon, Tata CLiQ Luxury, Celio, Burger King, P&G, Lionsgate Play, Sanofi, Tata Motors, Unilever, VIP Industries, Zee Network, Oppo, Reliance Digital, 3M, and Malabar Gold. In these roles, he played a key part in driving business integration, accelerating growth, and expanding P&L across the network.
Before joining Havas, Arindam held senior leadership roles at some of India’s most renowned advertising agencies. At Ogilvy, he served as Senior Vice President, leading key accounts such as Unilever Beverages, Hamilton Group, Bosch Siemens, and Mahindra Lifespaces. His career also includes a long stint at TBWA\India and TBWA\Worldwide, where he scaled from General Manager to Vice President, managing operations in South and Chennai and working with brands like Apple, Henkel, Titan Goldplus, GMR Group, Sify, Heineken, and Reliance Footprints. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at DDB Mudra Group, Saatchi & Saatchi, and MullenLowe Lintas Group, where he was responsible for iconic brands including Peter England, UB Group, and Tata Tea.
With more than two decades of experience spanning employer branding, integrated communications, and client leadership, Arindam is well-positioned to shape the next chapter of Havas India’s growth. His expanded mandate reflects Havas India’s commitment to strengthening its creative network and people-first approach, while continuing to deliver integrated solutions for its clients.
