Inductus Group and DST, Government of Gujarat Signed Strategic MoU to Position Gujarat as a Global GCC Hub

New Delhi, April 2026 – In a significant step toward strengthening Gujarat’s position in the global technology and innovation landscape, the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Inductus Group a leader in establishing and scaling Global Capability Centres (GCCs), to collaboratively promote the state as a preferred destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs).

The partnership reflects a shared vision to accelerate the growth of a robust IT and GCC ecosystem in Gujarat by leveraging the state’s strengths in skilled talent, progressive infrastructure. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to enhance Gujarat’s global visibility and competitiveness as an investment destination for multinational enterprises.

Under the MoU, Inductus Group will bring its domain expertise in GCC advisory, IT consulting, location strategy, and investment facilitation. This collaboration comes at a time when India continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for GCCs, with enterprises increasingly looking beyond traditional metros to tap into emerging locations offering cost efficiency, talent depth, and scalability.

Mr. Alouk Kumar Founder & CEO of Inductus Group quoted “This collaboration with Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat reflects a shared commitment to shaping the next phase of India’s GCC growth story. Gujarat offers a compelling proposition with its strong policy framework, infrastructure readiness, and talent potential. Through this partnership, we aim to enable global organizations to confidently establish and scale their GCCs, while contributing to the creation of a sustainable, high-impact technology ecosystem in the state.”

Gujarat presents a compelling value proposition in this evolving landscape, combining strong industrial fundamentals with proactive governance, infrastructure readiness, and a growing focus on innovation-driven sectors. The state’s emphasis on ease of doing business and long-term policy stability further enhances its attractiveness for global enterprises.

From an industry standpoint, the role of GCCs is rapidly evolving from cost optimization centres to strategic hubs driving digital transformation, R&D, and enterprise innovation. This shift is prompting organizations to evaluate new geographies that can support next-generation capabilities, making partnerships such as this critical for enabling informed decision-making and smooth market entry.

Additionally, as mid-sized global enterprises increasingly explore the GCC model, there is a growing need for structured facilitation, ecosystem building, and on-ground advisory support. The collaboration between the Government of Gujarat and Inductus Group is well positioned to address these requirements through a combination of policy backing and market expertise
